Billy Dee Williams Leads the Latest Guest Announcements

Hello — what have we here? (And by here, I mean Star Wars Celebration.)

That’s right! Billy Dee Williams will be bringing all the charm to Chicago this April! Mr. Williams is a fantastic Celebration guest. We have met him numerous times over the years and each time has been memorable. Joining him is Alan Tudyk. Mr. Tudyk portrayed K-2S0, the former Imperial Droid who was reprogrammed to help the rebellion in Rogue One.

From Star Wars Rebels, master and apprentice will reunite. Freddie Prince Jr. and Taylor Gray (we highly recommend you meet him) will be joining already announced Vanessa Marshall for Celebration!

From the Original Trilogy, Anthony Forrest, John Morton, Julian Glover, and Michael Culver will be there. Mr. Forrest’s stormtrooper who was tricked into thinking those were not the droids he was looking for. Mr. Morton portrayed Boba Fett a few times and played Dak in Empire Strikes Back. I’ve seen quite a few photographs over the year signed by Mr. Bulloch that was Mr. Morton. Mr. Glover and Mr. Culver played Imperial Officers.

Of course, the line up is not complete. Stay tuned for more names!

The Phantom Menace will have a 20th Anniversary Panel

The first wait all night panel has been announced! The Phantom Menace 20th anniversary panel will take place on Monday (which as of this writing still has tickets!).

However, this is only detail we know of right now. Ian McDiarmid is scheduled to be there all four days, so we expect him to be there.

Also, some guests will probably be panel only. When information is released, we will post it as soon as we can.

About Star Wars Celebration

Star Wars Celebration will occur April 11-15, 2019 at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Star Wars Celebration is the ultimate Star Wars fandom event. Celebrity guests, authors, and crew members from the saga will be interacting with guests through panels, photo ops, or autograph opportunities. There will be Q&A sessions with various members of the saga, plus plenty of fan lead discussions and cosplay contests. Also, there will be tons of rare Star Wars merchandise available.
