We used to be cooktraveleat.com. We love exploring new restaurants, especially in New Orleans. While I may have been to better ones, my favorite is Lebanon’s Cafe in New Orleans.

They serve good food consistently. Now, she loves the “yellow rice,” while both my wife and I pretty much enjoy everything else. Their lamb chops are flavorful, and their gyros are so tender and juicy that they ruin the dish anywhere else.

Plus, you can see the streetcar pass, making it a unique New Orleans experience.

WordPress offers a daily writing prompt that I’ve found to be an excellent tool to help me spend my idle time more productively. Whether I’m waiting in the car, sitting in a doctor’s office, or have a few minutes to spare, I’ve decided to turn to these prompts as a healthier alternative to doom-scrolling through social media or news sites. While I don’t plan to follow this practice every single day, I do intend to engage with it occasionally. This exercise also presents a unique challenge: crafting these pieces entirely on my phone. The texts will be quickly written and unpolished, reflecting the spontaneous nature of the moments in which they are created. This practice not only provides a creative outlet but also enhances my ability to write succinctly and think creatively on the go.
