Prominent Actors for the Grown-Up Nerds

For us elders, the guest list is incredible. Mallrats icon Jason Lee will be there, and so will we with our Mallrats poster. The My Name is Earl and Alvin, and the Chipmunks star crosses generations in fandom appeal. Don’t forget he was also Syndrome in The Incredibles.

The convention also promises inspiring Daredevil reunions with Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Sci-fi queen Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica and The Mandolorian fame will take us back in time. One of our favorite guests, Sean Gunn, returns this year to New Orleans as well. He’s beloved for his role in Guardians of the Galaxy, where he provided the physical acting for fan-favorite CGI character Rocket. Gunn has delighted audiences for years, especially with his recurring role in the hit show Gilmore Girls.

We have noticed that even if our little one doesn’t know a Fan Expo guest, the guest enjoys her and all the other children. I might have gushed over meeting Sam Raimi last year in New Orleans, but he thoroughly enjoyed meeting our little one.

Voice Acting Legends for the Next Generation

But FAN EXPO New Orleans offers plenty to inspire the kids as well. Transformers voice-acting god Peter Cullen will be there – the iconic voice of Optimus Prime himself!

And for young TMNT fans, the voices behind the original Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo are reuniting! Just imagine your child’s face lighting up and meeting the talent behind the turtles in person.
