Writing While Waiting: 5 everyday things that bring you happiness

WordPress has a daily prompt. I decided to use these prompts to pass the time when I’m waiting in the car, doctor’s office, etc., instead of doom scrolling. While I won’t do this every day, I will do it from time to time. This is a quickly written text that will often be done entirely on the phone.  Today’s wait is: getting the daughter off the bus.

And here is today’s subject: 5 everyday things that bring you happiness

1. My wife and kid – I know they are technically things, but nothing brings more happiness
2. My CPAP- Seriously, it’s been a life changer for me. I know I’ll get some restful sleep, and the difference from when I didn’t have one is amazing.
3. My books – I have been in a reading rut lately, but when I am in the mood to read again, I have a ton waiting for me.
4. My computer – It is my primary tool for my creative endeavors
5. My record collection – each album has a story to go with it.
