The Second City at Celebration
The Second City, which will be appearing at Star Wars Celebration, is a comic improvisational troop that has jumpstarted the careers of Dan Aykroyd, Steve Carell, Tna Key, Keegan-Michael Key, and Bill Murray amongst many others. For over 50 years, The Second City has been an instuitution of not only Chicago comedy, but for the world. They have branched out to other cities over the years.
Now they will enter a galaxy far, far away when they appear at Celebration. Besides being featured at the convention, they are also “hosting Star Wars-themed performances at their iconic theater in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood.”

Star Wars Celebration
Star Wars Celebration will occur April 11-15, 2019 at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Star Wars Celebration is the ultimate Star Wars fandom event. Celebrity guests, authors, and crew members from the saga will be interacting with guests through panels, photo ops, or autograph opportunities. There will be Q&A sessions with various members of the saga, plus plenty of fan lead discussions and cosplay contests. Also, there will be tons of rare Star Wars merchandise available.
