The Amazing City of Pensacola Hosts Pensacon 2020

One Convention, Many Locations

If you find yourself at the Bay Center for all of Pensacon, you missed out on quite a bit. In fact, the amazing city of Pensacola hosts Pensacon.

One great feature the Bay Center has is a yard. Not many places have this and its perfect for LARP

The Bay Center is the center. Pensacon hosts its show floor here. Also, the autograph and photo-op areas will be here as well. You can have a very successful convention staying here. We have. Because we are serious autograph collectors, this is where we will be most of the time.

Yet, this convention has many different venues. In fact, very few cons completely take over a city the way Pensacon takes over Pensacola.

The Nola Nerd Baby in the Grand Hotel

Across the street from the Bay Center is the Pensacola Grand Hotel. This area will host many different panels and events. The Rex Theatre will also be hosting different panels including QAs with media guests.

The Pensacola Little Theatre will also host many different panels and events such as the Pensacon Short Film Festival. Finally, the Pensacola Saenger Theatre will also host some of QAs and events such as the cosplay contest. Both of these places also have smaller rooms that will host their panels and events.

Pensacon does provide a free trolly service for its patrons to get from one location to another. But, all are accessible by walking. If the weather is nice, this also provides you with opportunities for some great cosplay pictures.

Pensacon is Great for Pensacola

While we would love to see Pensacon get a venue that can hold everything in one place, we do think it is amazing that the entire downtown area works together to make this convention a success. It’s great for business, and it’s excellent for Pensacola.

Not only is Pensacon at many locations, but a majority of the town also gets involved. The airport gets an intergalactic redesign to welcome its guests from out of town.

Restaurants get into the spirit as well and go all out to make sure their guests realize that just because Pensacon has an ending time, the fun doesn’t.

Pensacon is a win-win for Pensacola.
