Star Wars Celebration has announced their first set of guests! The announcement features plenty of voice actors from Star Wars Resistance. Christopher Sean, Scott Lawrence, and Suzie McGrath. Because of the newness of Resistance, these will be some very popular guests at Celebration. It’s a safe bet you will see many Resistance posters in their lines.
Joining them is fan favorite and the voice behind Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars, James Arnold Taylor. This is surprising for he usually acts as a host. It will be great for fans to meet him, especially with The Clone Wars returning. Master Star Wars sound veteran Matthew Wood will also be in Chicago. Mr. Wood has worked in the sound department for LucasFilm and Star Wars for nearly three decades and has done voices in Resistance, Rebels, The Clone Wars, Battlefront II, and the prequel movies. His most famous voice work in Star Wars has been that of General Grievous.
Also, Janina Gvankar will be at Celebration. She plays the lead in Battlefront II, Iden Versio. The game, after a few initial hiccups, has been a success with new content being released still. In fact, Matthew Wood and James Arnold Taylor just reprised their most famous roles for the game.
Only Monday tickets are left for Celebration. So if you haven’t bought tickets, and still want to go, you can cram it all in one day! There are some other online exclusive sales such as pins and Celebration shirts. You can also preorder a commemorative guide. The Celebration store is hugely popular and always has a wait to get into it. Think about preordering.
