Cancellations Happen
One problem every convention has to handle is cancellations. It’s hard for fans because they are the main attraction for lots of con goers. However, these people also have to pay rent. While most love going to conventions, it supplements their income. Acting is still what pays the bills. It is also why we want to meet them.
While it is disappointing for convention goers, we as attendees have to understand. It’s not the cons fault. It’s not the guests fault. It sucks. We won’t deny that. Yet, Pensacon handles it really well. They post the cancellation as soon as it happens.
Here is the list of cancellations for Pensacon:
- Mike Perkins
- Brian Pulido
- Garrett Wang
- Graham McTavish
- Julie Brown
- Aleks Paunovic
- Mike Toth
- Michelle Gomez
- Lucy Davis
- James “Hillbilly Jim” Morris
- Peta-Marie Rixon
- Will Yun Lee
- Chris Sullivan
- Joonas Suotamo
- Alex Kingston
- Rick Worthy
- Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein
Of course, we are disappointed as well. Michelle Gomez is at the top of our want list for autographs. Yet, as fans, we are happy if it is work that pulls them away. If it is something personal, then we wish them with luck as well.
