Enthusiasts of popular animated shows will be very happy to meet voice actors at Fan Expo New Orleans from January 5-7, 2024.
Dante Basco, best known for voicing Prince Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender and Rufio in Hook, will be there all three days. Additionally, on Saturday and Sunday, guests can see Transformers legends Frank Welker, the voice of Megatron, and Peter Cullen, known for bringing Optimus Prime to life.
Furthermore, for fans of classic comedy cartoons, Maurice LaMarche, the award-winning voice of The Brain from Pinky and The Brain, will be there Friday and Saturday. Moreover, the talented and frequent voice actor Tara Strong who voiced Raven in Teen Titans and Miss Minutes in Loki on Disney+. Some day, I’ll post a blog about all my favorite Tara Strong voice characters. It will be a very long read!
In addition, lovers of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise can see three of the original voice actors. Specifically, Cam Clarke, voice of Leonardo, Townsend Coleman, voice of Michelangelo, and Barry Gordon, voice of Donatello, will be there all three days. Also, the man behind Raphael, Rob Paulsen, will also be there Friday and Saturday. Paulsen, also known for voicing Pinky from Pinky and The Brain, is one of our favorite meets ever! Don’t miss out on meeting him or attending a panel he will be on.
Furthermore, on Saturday and Sunday, fans can meet Kathleen Herles, the original voice of Dora from Dora the Explorer. To explain, Herles gave voice to the adventurous explorer in all of her animated adventures from 2000 to 2008.
With this incredible group of talented voice actors from some of the most loved cartoons of the past few decades, Fan Expo New Orleans is shaping up to be an event animation fans will not want to miss. Specifically, the chance to meet these actors and have them sign autographs or pose for photos is truly invaluable for any animation fan.
