ComicCon-ing

Covering Star Wars Celebration is Our Superbowl.

Celebration is Here!

We cover as many comic cons and fan conventions that we can. Covering Star Wars Celebration is the biggest event we get to cover as media.

If you see us, come get one of our buttons!

And, it’s here. Finally.

We are (mostly) packed.

Tomorrow, we say goodbye for a week to the Nola Nerd Baby and travel to Chicago for the first time.

And almost every day we will be there, will be jammed packed.

Our Coverage

When we applied to Star Wars Celebration for a media pass, we didn’t ask to interview big stars. In fact, we don’t plan on doing any interviews (even though if Daisy Ridley would like a word, I wouldn’t object. Well, if anyone one from the films did, I wouldn’t object).

There are plenty of Star Wars news sites out there. They put a lot of work and effort into their coverage. They have to “break” news to survive because it is so competitive.

We put a lot of work and effort into our site, but our focus is different. While everyone will give you the latest tidbits from the Episode IX panel, we want to cover the other panels. Japanese Star Wars Paper cutting needs coverage!

Origin Stories

We also want to hear from fans. I love listening to people’s origin for enjoying Star Wars. I don’t care if the only thing you watch Star Wars related is The Star Wars Show because you stan Anthony Carboni then you are a Star Wars fan.

Mrs. Nola Nerd Couple at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim! Read her Star Wars origin story.

I’m timid. But I do have a Zoom recorder. So I might bug a few people to tell me their origin story. It would be cool to collect.

Follow us!

If you can’t make it to celebration, follow us on social media!

Most of our updates at covering Star Wars Celebration will be done by Twitter. We will post plenty of pictures on Instagram. I might even make an impromptu YouTube video. We may even get a live Facebook feed or two.

So please stay tuned and may the force be with you

I'm a husband to a woman who is nerdier than I am, and a father to a near perfect child. I am one of the main authors for this website, plus I handle most of the technical aspects (web design, editing podcasts, and videos, etc.) During the day, I'm a Computer Science and African American Studies Teacher. Most of my free time I'm listening to music or podcasts and watching soccer. I love Star Wars and Star Trek equally. I'm a horrible gamer yet I game. You can reach me at nolanerdcouple@gmail.com
