A Family Exploring the World of Fandom Together
The Nola Nerd Couple attends Comic Cons whenever and wherever we can. We love reporting on them from a fan’s point of view. We have also created a new series called ComicCon-ing 101 aimed at fans who are new to attending these types of conventions. While we tend to focus on the Gulf Coast and Houston areas for our conventions, we have done cons in California, Illinois, and the United Kingdom.
In 2018, comiccon-ing drastically changed for us when we had the Nola Nerd Baby. Strollers are great for carrying items but terrible for walking around on a busy day. Also, now that she is mobile, walking around with her brings a new set of challenges. So now our reports on specific cons will have a section dealing with these issues.
