We Can’t Wait!

Big Easy Con is just over two weeks away! We can’t wait to go, especially since this will be the first con the Nola Nerd Baby will attend and be able to walk and talk. We can’t wait to see how many guests she charms and how cute everyone thinks she is in her cosplays!

Big Easy Con Guest Update

Big Easy Con is still updating guests. We are excited to meet Dan Folger. Lots of fans will know him from the Fantastic Beasts series and The Walking Dead. To us, though, he is Marvin Goldberg.

Power Ranger fans will have the chance to meet Walter Jones and Austin St. John. Zach Callison, Steven from Steven Universe, will be joining Grace Rolek in New Orleans as well.

Two guests have had to cancel – Jonathan Frakes and Laurie Holden. Remember, conventions are part-time jobs for celebrity guests, but their day jobs pay the bills. Plus, without their work in movies and TV, they wouldn’t be guests at cons in the first place.

Kid’s Costume Parade

Speaking of our kid and cosplay, the event we are probably most excited to see is the Kid’s Costume Parade. This parade will occur at noon on Sunday, November 3rd. We can’t wait to see all the cute little cosplayers. Not sure which the baby will be just yet. She might be a pirate, or we might come up with a surprise.

About Big Easy Con

Big Easy Con is a three-day fan event that will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The con takes place from November 1-3. Friday doors are open from 2-9 pm. Saturday and Sunday the con opens at 10 am and runs to 7 pm on Saturday and 5 pm on Sunday.
