Big Easy Con Comes in November

New Con, New Dates

Trying to put on a big convention in a new city can be rough. This, of course, has been true for Big Easy Con, especially with a move of the date three weeks before the original date. We trust that Big Easy Con is going to put on a great convention in November.

So, we have written about Big Easy Con’s decision to move to November. While we do work with them by having a promo code available for our readers, we do think it was the right move. We have been to a convention that should have been postponed/canceled that wasn’t, and it wasn’t a pretty site. We genuinely believe that if they can put on a better convention at a later date, then they made the right decision.

Celebrity Guests

Leading the celebrity guest announcements is Zachary Levi. Fresh off the success of Shazam, Mr. Levi has a significant following and truly cares about fans. We are super excited to be able to see

Phil LaMarr is appearing at Big Easy Con. He is one of the most sought after voice actors in the business. We have probably three pieces we could have him sign just from his work in the Star Wars Universe alone. Plus, he was Marvin in Pulp Fiction!

Michael Biehn, who starred in some of the best action films of the 80s and 90s, will also be at Big Easy Con. I already have signatures from The Terminator and The Abyss, and I am really considering getting one for Aliens.

Comic Guests

We have to admit that the person we wanted to meet at the original date was Charles Soule. We met him at Star Wars Celebration, but we didn’t bring any comics with us because we knew he would be at Big Easy Con. We really hope they can get him to commit to the new dates.
