ComicCon-ing: Artists Panels Preview For Sunday at Wizard World New Orleans

For the next two weeks, most of our blogs will be about Wizard World New Orleans. The Convention is held at the Morial Convention Center on January 6,7, and 8th.  This week we will be previewing the event, and next week reviewing the event. 

Earlier we discussed the artist panels for Friday and Saturday.  These panels are a great way to understand the comics business. We also highly suggest you visit these artists in Artist Alley.

Here are some of the panels for Sunday:

 

11:00-11:45 HOW TO DRAW THE MARVEL WAY (CREATIVE STAGE).  Again Mr. Geiger will be teaching you the Marvel way!

1:00-1:45 OUT OF THEIR SHELLS: DRAWING TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES WITH TMNT ARTISTS STEVE LAVIGNE AND BILLY MARTIN (CREATIVE STAGE) Both artists will discuss their process drawing the heroes on the half shell.

1:00-1:45PM WONDER WOMEN: CREATORS BRAVING THE WAY (ROOM 343) A discussion lead by some great creators and their process for creating women heroes.

2:00-2:45PM DRAWING DISNEY WITH CLINTON HOBART (CREATIVE STAGE) If you missed Saturday’s panel with Mr. Hobart, here is your chance to make it up.

2:00-2:45PM WHO’S THE MOST NEUROTIC SUPERHERO? INSIDE THE MINDS OF BATMAN, SPIDER-MAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, JESSICA JONES AND MORE with BATMAN AND PSYCHOLOGY’S DR. TRAVIS LANGLEY, MARVEL ZOMBIES’ FRED VAN LENTE, THE RED HOOK’S DEAN HASPIEL, SUPERHERO THERAPY’S DR. JANINA SCARLET & SPIDER-MAN’S DANNY FINGEROTH (ROOM 238) Comic book writers, historians, and a psychologist walk into a ba…Actually, they will be leading a panel looking at what makes comic book heroes tick.
